Coins for the Dual Year Spain - Russia

The year 2011 marks the Spain-Russia Dual 2011 with the one intended to lay the elements for a qualitative change in relations between the two countries, especially in the economic sphere. Within the framework of the celebration of the Spain-Russia Dual many events one of which is to issue a commemorative coin collection event.
Through EHA/2490/2011 order was agreed to issue, minting and circulation of collector coins "Dual Year Spain - Russia" (Official Gazette of September 20, 2011).

Features of the pieces.
10 euro coin face value (8 real silver of 925 milliseconds, with the remainder being copper).
Tolerance Law: Minimum of 925 milliseconds.
Weight: 27 g with a tolerance of plus or minus 0.27 g.
Diameter: 40 mm.
Shape: Circular with fluted edge.
Quality: Proof.

Reasons:
In the obverse of King Don Juan Carlos I. Surrounding it, in a circular and in capital letters, appears the legend JUAN CARLOS I KING OF SPAIN. At the bottom of the coin between two points is the year of issue, 2011. Legends surrounding the motives and see a pearl beading.

On the reverse, in the central area are the images of Don Quixote and a Russian ballet dancer. To the left of the landscape appears Quijote de La Mancha, below, the mint mark. To the right of the dancer appears the Russian landscape. Between the two central images in the bottom of the coin, in two lines and uppercase, the face value of the piece, 10 EURO. At the top of the coin, in a circular up and in capital letters, the legend YEAR DUAL SPAIN - RUSSIA.

The maximum number of pieces to coin will be 7,500 and the initial date of issue will be the second half of 2011.

The aforementioned coins were minted by the State in the National Mint and Stamp-Real Casa de la Moneda, which deliver to the Bank of Spain through the production of the documents representing the coins.

National Factory Mint - Royal Mint proceed with the sale of these coins, by itself or by companies hired for the purpose, will undertake to sell the public on a regular basis as well as export.

These coins may be marketed together with collector coins issued by the Russian monetary authorities to commemorate the event. Russian coins will be governed by the laws of Russia, country of issuance.

The initial price of retail Spanish currency will be 50 euro, excluding tax.
